We are organising a Sponsored swim for ‘Defending William against Duchenne’

William swims on a Friday evening in the Stage 1 class.  He was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy in January 2016 at the age of 3.  DMD is a progressive, incurable muscle wasting disease.  William’s parents wish to raise awareness of this rare disease and to also raise funds to make necessary adaptations to their home.

Below are details of the event:
DATE: Friday 29th June
TIME: 4-5.30pm width swimmers
5.30-7pm length swimmers
VENUE: Townsend school pool

It doesn’t matter how far you swim, as long as you come along and have a go.

There will be cakes to buy after your big swim and for spectators as well!

All information on William’s cause can be found on
https://defendingwilliamagainstduchenne.wordpress.com or on Facebook Page Defending William Against Duchenne.

If you are interested in coming along contact me for a Sponsor Form and we look forward to seeing you.
